Sports Medicine

  • 2013-14 Sports Physicals

     
    The dates for the sports physicals for ALL sports for the 2013-14 school year are:
          Tues. June 4, beginning at 5pm
          Wed. August 7, beginning at 8am
    The cost is $22 and will take place in the HS nurse's office
    Please call 531-2205 to make an appointment

    NEW Physical packets (blue) are available in the Athletic Office or (CLICK HERE)
     
    NO sports physicals will be given at the school before winter and spring seasons, as it has been in the past.
    They will have to get a physical from their family doctor or a walk-in clinic.

  • Fall ImPACT Test Dates

     
    Middle and High School student-athletes in 7th, 9th and 11th grades as well as new athletes to the sport will need to take a baseline test prior to participating in the first practice for the following higher-risk sports:

    Football + Soccer + Field Hockey + Volleyball

    May 28th: FOOTBALL
        2:45        MS (Mr. Langue's Room) entering 7th grade, entering 9th grade, new to sport
        2:45        HS (Mr. Ruhl's Room) entering 11th grade, new to sport
     
    May 29th: BOYS & GIRLS SOCCER & FOOTBALL
        2:45        MS (Mr. Langue's Room) entering 7th or 9th grade**
        2:45        HS (Mr. Ruhl's Room) entering 11th grade, new to sport
     
    May 30th:  FIELD HOCKEY & VOLLEYBALL
        2:45       MS (Mr. Langue's Room) entering 7th, 9th** or 11th grades
     
    **Current 8th graders playing soccer or volleyball who just took the test in Feb/March of this year DO NOT need to take the test again for next fall!!
     
    August 7th:  MAKE-UP DATE
